I haven't shot 35mm in so long.

Everything always slows down once school lets out but these may be a part the start of a series I've been thinking of about for a while. Taken a few months ago? ps, my concept of time... not so good.

NON-MAJOR GRAD SHOW

I've been organizing this show since September and it's finally HERE:




G+ is just around the corner from the Gladstone!
The reception starts at 6pm for G+ and 7pm at the Gladstone.

This is the work I had in the OCAD (Tour de Force) Grad show this past weekend. I also had 2 books somewhere in there but I couldn't find them. anyway, click to enlarge.

These are my silkscreened prints from my series of crests. All three prints are an edition of 2 and were hung next to each other. Excuse the mad glare, I need to take better photos of them sans the frames but until then...

My second spindle turning (first one broke). It's a spinning top. walnut. It's kind of wonky when it spins.



Constructed box made of cherry wood, for the lid I used a piece of firewood I found.

A pair of plugs I made out of basswood. the colour was a lot lighter/nicer before but I coated them with olive oil.

So I caved in and got a blog because it's been a good year since I said I would get a website going (and probably a couple more before I actually do). I'll mostly post photos and probably some print stuff, bookworks, woodwork, paintings & drawings, ETC.



72x60" (9 - 20x24") black & white fibre print, from a digital negative (laser printed on acetate).



40x50" colour inkjet print from digital collage of a 4x5 transparency and old family 6x6 negatives.




60x80" (4 - 30x40") colour print from 8x10 negative

This print was the craziest I've ever done (technically) and my first time with the 8x10 camera. Bigger is better.


I graduate this spring. Interdisciplinary Grad Show is June 1st.
